I said earlier that I was making baby shower invites. Here it is! I saw a card on Stampin' Connection that inspired me to make these. I am sorry I don't remember whose card it was. I made 60 of these; 40 in pink for my sister and 20 in blue for my cousin. I wasn't really paying attention to how many I would have to eventually make when I was designing this card. I clearly would not have decided to have all those cuts if I was. With so many pieces to cut, I rallied the troops. My mom, sister and longtime friend/upline came over to help me cut all the pieces. It took all four of us cutting over four hours to cut all the pieces. I had my friend/upline come back the next day and help assemble them all. Now all I have to do for the shower is make some decorations, decide and make food, make cupcakes, get prizes for games, and put the games together. Not too much!! I do have a couple of months to get everything together.
I would love to hear what you have to say about this card! Leave me a comment please!

It's been awhile!
This card is for The Paper Players sketch challenge this week. I found The Paper Players when I first started to follow Ann Schach . She is amazing and I am so inspired by her. You really need to check out her blog if you don't already. My sister and my husband's cousin are both expecting a baby this summer so I thought I needed to get started on the baby cards.
I used the new square lattice embossing folder from Stampin' Up! for the Certainly Celery layer. I really like the effect it gives. The Bashful Blue stars are stamped with words from the Baby Bundle stamp set. I used the baby accessories from the same stamp set for the Soft Suede layer. I wanted to create an all over background that would add a little subtle effect.
I really like the way this card came out. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think. Don't forget to stop by The Paper Players blog and Ann Schach's blog, you won't be disappointed!
Thanks for stopping by and see you next time.
