Merry Monday Challenge

I was blog surfing this morning and decided to play along with the Merry Monday Challenge.  I have been following along but have never actually submitted an entry before.  I decided that since I have been playing with MDS recently that I would go ahead and give it a try this week with a digital card.
Here is the sketch for this week.  I decided to rotate the sketch and get a little creative with it.  I used the trees on my card where the ribbon and dsp are on the sketch.  I also thought it would look really cute if I used the deer stamp instead of the punch.  I think this card is super cute and super simple.  Leave me a comment and tell me what you think.

Wedding Words

I am having so much fun with MDS2!  Here is an idea I got from Pinterest.  I really love this idea!  It has the lyrics to our first dance song (Could I Have This Dance by Anne Murray) over our first dance picture.  I am going to have a canvas made from this very soon!

A scrapbook page

I have been playing with My Digital Studio 2 again!  My baby is five years old and about to start kindergarten.  How crazy is it that I am just now making pages for his scrapbook?!?  I didn't use any of the new features on MDS2 this time, but I still had a lot of fun creating this page.

PPA53 Purple Monochromatic

This week Pals Paper Arts is having a Purple Monochromatic challenge. I have so many things to do for my stamp camp tomorrow, I decided to make my card using My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!

I absolutely love My Digital Studio! It is so easy to use and you can create almost anything with this software. From cards and scrapbook pages to dvds and photo albums, this program has almost everything. Stampin' Up! even offers downloads to expand your digital library. What more could you need, besides actual stamps and ink?

If you want more information on My Digital Studio or would like to order your own copy, visit my website at http://roberta_smith.stampinup.net

Also remember that for the month of August if you hold a $350 workshop, you will get an extra $25 in hostess dollars FREE.

Thanks for visiting and see you next time.

My Stampin' Story

As part of Stampin' Up! new Recruit Crew, one of our first acts was to share our "My Stampin' Story". I have been playing with My Digital Studio trying to get this the way I wanted it. I first tried to do a vintage look, but I didn't like the way it was turning out. I then tried to use the medallion background stamp but didn't like the way that looked either. I started to play around with the new designer paper colors and this is what I came up with.

I didn't have any trouble with My Story because I have been thinking about it for awhile. I hope you like it.

I am leaving for Convention on Tuesday and will try to keep you updated with news and photos.

Thanks for visiting and see you next time.

My Why

As part of Stampin' Up!'s Recruit Crew, our first Act was to create our own My Why story. This story is to put in writing why we decided to join the Recruit Crew and drives us to succeed.

I have thought about it and decided that I want to recruit people who will eventually become good friends. Who couldn't use more friends? "It's good to dream!" Dream about what comes next in my Stampin' Up! business and make it happen. Dream about all the great product and put them to use. Finally, I want to be a part of a great team. I already am because I am a part of the Stampin' Up! team. I would also like to build my own team of great stampers.

There you have it. My Why story. After Convention, I am planning on putting this in a frame and putting it somewhere I can see it everyday. I intend to stick with it and one day create a new My Why story with all new goals.

Thanks for visiting and see you next time.

PPA42

Here is another creation made from My Digital Studio. I have been using this program a lot lately. It is so versatile. You can make just about anything using My Digital Studio from cards and photo albums to slide shows with music. If you don't have My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! yet, I strongly encourage you to get it. Right now Stampin' Up! is having a special. If you purchase My Digital Studio before May 31, you get a FREE package of Designer brads. Stop by my website for more information or to order.

Now for today's card. I made this one for Pals Paper Arts challenge #42. This week is a color challenge using Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive and Real Red. As you can see, I made Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive the main characters with Real Red a supporting color.

Thanks for visiting and see you next time.

This is a card I made using My Digital Studio. Now that I have learned how to use this program, I am using it all the time. It is really a time saver and so much fun. You can create almost anything you want and still have the colors match Stampin' Up! colors exactly when you use their professional print services.

Stampin' Up! Ducks

Today I decided to make a photo page of the ducks that visit Stampin' Up! Home Office. The momma has been coming back to the home office for a couple of years. They have become mascots (sort of).

I used My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! to create this page. I used a template that was already designed and just changed a couple of the colors. This program is great and I love it. You can create cards, calendars, photo albums, movies and just about anything else. If you do not consider yourself crafty, you can still use this program because it comes with preloaded templates for cards, photo albums and calendars. You can change them up like I did you simply input your own pictures right from your computer. The best part is that the colors in My Digital Studio match Stampin' Up! colors exactly when you use their professional print service.

To order My Digital Studio or any other Stampin' Up! product, stop by my website here.

Kindness Birds

Today's card is for Pals Paper Arts Inspiration Challenge. They want you to use this set of pictures to design your card. I chose to use the overall theme (birds) and combine the colors to get my color combo. I used Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla. I don't have any stamp sets with tree branches, so I had to make my own. The birds are from the Birds and Blooms Sizzlets Set for the Big Shot. I used MDS for the sentiment, it is Heard for the Heart, because I don't have this stamp set. I sponged around the edge of the Very Vanilla to soften it up so it didn't look so straight and edgy.

I think this card is missing something but I can't decide what that is.

Thanks for visiting and see you next time.

P.S. Be sure to stop by Pals Paper Arts to try the challenge for yourself.

My First Digital Card

This is my first all digital card using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio. I love this software. You can create so many different projects with it. You can make cards, calendars, scrapbook pages, and the list goes on. Stampin' Up! also has additional digital downloads available, although it does come pretty loaded up.

It is also time to Play With PPA! It has been awhile since I have participated in one of their challenges but I am glad to start again. This week is a sketch challenge. This sketch was designed by Margaret Moody. You can check her blog out here.

On my card, I used Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Very Vanilla. The sentiment and stamp are both from the stamp set Thoughts & Prayers, which is preloaded on the My Digital Software.

To order your own copy of My Digital Studio click here. To play along with the PPA challenge, stop by Pals Paper Arts.

Hope you enjoyed this card and have a great day! Thanks for visiting.

Birthday Invite

Today's project is an invitation I made for my son's third birthday. I used My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! on everything except the train on the bottom and the train punch. The train on the bottom was stamped in Ruby Red, Old Olive, and Night of Navy. The stamp set is Choo Choo from Stampin' Up! The train punch is from Martha Stewart.

The new Occasions mini catalog and the new Sale-a-ration catalog went into effect today! If you are interested in any new product, let me know or you can check it out online here. There are many new stamp sets, punches, and other accessories you will find that you can not live without!!

Thanks for visiting!
