Not Quite Vintage

This week over at Pals Paper Arts they are having a Monochromatic-Blues challenge. You can use any shade of blue and any layout you want. I chose to use Not Quite Navy and Whisper White. I have seen these flowers made with the scallop circle punch a lot in the past few days and I got the tutorial here. These flowers are fun and super easy to make. The tiny buttons in the middle of the flowers are from the Bitty Buttons collection available May 1st. The stamps are from the Vintage Vogue stamp set.

Thanks for visiting and see you next time.

P.S. The blog candy in the previous post is not mine. I am just advertising for a fellow demo. Sorry for the confusion.

Tea Party Love

As most of you know, Stampin' Up! is about to go into a "Color Renovation" and many of the now current colors will be retiring in June. I have been busy trying to use up all the card stock and DSP of the retiring colors. I have to admit is has been difficult because the colors retiring are colors that I do not usually use.

This card is from Margaret Moody's sketch as part of Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge. This week, I decided to let the DSP (Tea Party) be the focal point. It is very Springy and full of flowers.

Thanks for visiting and see you next time.

Special Announcement

I got some fabulous news from Stampin' Up! yesterday! They are doing what they have termed a "Color Renovation." I love it and am very excited!

Here is a list of the new color collections with the new colors that are being added.

You will notice five new colors (Crumb Cake is the old Kraft); Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Marina Mist.

Also, if you are familiar with Stampin' Up!, you will notice some of the In Colors making a come back. Melon Mambo, Rich Razzelberry, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, River Rock, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Wild Wasabi are the returning In Colors.

These are the colors that we are bidding a fond farewell to. Don't be too upset because you still have until June 30 to stock up on your favorites. Remember to stock up on the card stock, reinkers and stamp pads as well as accessories!

If you are interested in stocking up on some old favorites or getting ready for the official release of the new color collections, please visit my online store. You can also sign up to be one of my fellow demonstrators through my online store. Just leave me a comment and I will be able to answer all your questions.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are looking forward to the new Color Renovation as much as I am.
