My Easy Canvas Print

A few weeks ago, I was asked if I would like to review Easy Canvas Prints. They offered me one of my photos printed on canvas in exchange for a review on my blog. I jumped at the chance because I have seen them done before and was dying to try it for myself. This is my Easy Canvas Print. I think they did a great job. I love how you can have the texture of canvas with the clarity of a digital print.

They even wrap the photo around the edge. I love this because it gives a more finished look.

Easy Canvas Prints has many different sizes to choose from and the prices start from only $29.99! The process is very painless and they walk you through every step. You choose your size, upload your image, select your border options, add image and color effects and checkout. It is super easy!

Be sure to stop by Easy Canvas Prints and get started on your customized canvas print!

LLama Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever Llama Blog Hop! We are very excited to take you on a tour of Stampin' Up!'s new Idea Book & Catalog as well as the new Holiday Mini! I am stop #9 on your tour. If you arrived here from Buffy's blog then you are right on track. If you hopped here by magic, you will want to start at the beginning.

I am showcasing three projects using the Best Friends Forever set in the Growing Up section of the catalog. Here is my first card. I used Old Olive for everything except the vines on bottom and the Very Vanilla Decorative Label Punch. The rhinestones add just the right touch of bling. I used the color spritzer to help break up some of the empty space.

For my second card, I a technique that I have been seeing everywhere and been trying with little success. I made it work for this card. The technique is emboss resist. First you take a piece of white card stock and emboss your image with clear embossing powder. Then you sponge over and around your embossed image so your image shows up and your background is sponged. It took me some time to get the hang of it but now I love it! My color combo is the Dynamic Duo of Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink from the Color Coach. My final project for the Llama Blog Hop is a hexagon box using the Mini Milk Carton Die. You simple cut two milk cartons out with the Big Shot, cut of one end on each carton and adhere together. Super simple, super fast and oh so cute! My color combo on this one also came from the Color Coach; Marina Mist, Old Olive and Real Red.

Here are two close ups of the box.

I hope you enjoyed my projects! Now on to the next stop; April!
EDITED: Since April hasn't had time to post her hop, I am sending you to Darrah!

Have fun on the rest of the tour and enjoy all the great projects!

Paper Bows

I have been making paper bows for awhile but just now got around to posting about them. They are super simple to make and add a great finishing touch to gifts.
Here is a close up of one I made with retired Christmas paper. One bow will only use a 6"x12" piece of paper. Here is another one. I really like the contrast of the red inside the green.

It's Here! It's Here! It's Here!

It is finally here! I love just about everything in this new mini! There are so many products in this mini that are MUST haves.

My absolute number one must have is the new Big Shot Stocking Die! It cuts stockings 5 1/2"x 4 3/4"! The die also has the toes and heel cuff as well as the top cuff. The front cover of the mini shows a project made with the die.

My second favorite item is the new Simply Scored Scoring Tool! Have you wanted to make folds on your projects with as little as 1/8" space between folds? Well, now you can! The Simply Scored also comes with three markers that you can place at your desired spots and mark your folds on many projects without having to look for the numbers each time.

I have a very long list of items from this mini that I either already have or want desperately.
-Stitched Stocking Stamp Set and Builder Punch
-Card Keeper Box
-Mini Jingle Bells
-25 & Counting Stamp Set
-Peekaboo Frames Big Shot Die
-1" Square Punch
-Snow Burst Embossing Folder
-3/8" Quilted Satin Ribbon
-Christmas Lodge Stamp Set
-Frostwood Lodge Designer Paper
-Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Paper and Fabric
-Spice Cake Designer Paper and Fbric

There is something for everyone in this new mini. I am not a fan of Halloween but if you are, you will not be disappointed with the new products.

Let me know if you need a copy of the new Holiday Mini and I will send it out immediately so you can begin making your wish list.
