No Card Today

I don't have a card or project to share today. It is my son's 3rd birthday today and we are decorating the house for his party on Sunday. I like to do something special with him an his birthday since his sister is in school. He said he wanted to put balloons in the house. I told him we can't do balloons until Sunday and he got upset (he really loves balloons). I decided we would both have fun putting up streamers and birthday banners. We only got a little bit of stuff up when we had to take his nap (he gets really cranky if he doesn't get one). We are going to finish when he wakes up.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

I didn't case her card exactly but I did use the major elements. I am so glad I saw this card because she does amazing work. You should stop by her blog and check out her work. Thanks for the inspiration, Melissa.

3-D Heart

Here is a 3-D Heart that will be a project I present at my Valentine's Day Workshop on Saturday. The template is from Stampin' Up!'s pattern library. It is super simple to put together, just cut out and adhere the sides together.

That is all for now. I have to go work on some more samples. Thanks for visiting and come back soon!

Heart Box Challenge

The template for this heart box comes from Lynn Pratt. She is doing a challenge on her blog right now. She is giving the template away free so you can participate. I had so much fun doing mine. I am also submitting this box to Pals Paper Arts. They are having an inspiration challenge right now.

Here is the inside of my box. I think it is missing something, but I knew if I started adding that I would not be able to stop. For once I just had to quit while I was ahead.

Recipe:

Stamp Sets: Whimsical Words (Sale-a-Bration)

Ink: Real Red

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Sending Love Designer Paper (Occasions Mini)

Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch

Follow Your Heart

I finally did it! I made my first easel card! I have trying to make one just right for a while now, but they wouldn't turn out the way I wanted them to, until now. I used the new Sending Love Specialty paper from in the Occasions Mini Catalog. The stamp set is Whimsical Words from the new Sale-A-Bration catalog.
Here is a look at the inside of my card. The three small hearts are punch out using the small heart punch also from the new Occasions Mini. There are so many new and exciting products in the new Occasions Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs. Magic Mojo

Is monday! That means mojo monday and magical monday at There's Magic in the Air. I combined the two challenges to make one really cute card. The stamp is a digital stamp you get for FREE when you play the challenge at There's Magic in the Air. The challenge at TMITA is to use this stamp and use stripes on your card.

For my card I decided to use some retired Stampin' Up! Designer Paper, Delicate Dots. The base is Whisper White with Pretty in Pink layered on top. The Delicate Dots Striped paper was then added. I colored the kitty with my Stampin' Up! Pastels in Creamy Caramel. Her clothes were colored with Stampin' Write markers in Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink, and Certainly Celery. The heart and bow are popped up with Dimensionals. The large scallop is punched out of Pretty in Pink with the scallop circle punch and the small scallop is done with the Big Shot Birds and Blooms die in Whisper White. I used my pastels to shade the edges with Pretty in Pink. The stamp is from the All Holidays stamp set.

Hope you enjoyed this card and stop by Mojo Monday and There's Magic in the Air to try the challenges for yourself. Have a great day.

My First Digital Card

This is my first all digital card using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio. I love this software. You can create so many different projects with it. You can make cards, calendars, scrapbook pages, and the list goes on. Stampin' Up! also has additional digital downloads available, although it does come pretty loaded up.

It is also time to Play With PPA! It has been awhile since I have participated in one of their challenges but I am glad to start again. This week is a sketch challenge. This sketch was designed by Margaret Moody. You can check her blog out here.

On my card, I used Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Very Vanilla. The sentiment and stamp are both from the stamp set Thoughts & Prayers, which is preloaded on the My Digital Software.

To order your own copy of My Digital Studio click here. To play along with the PPA challenge, stop by Pals Paper Arts.

Hope you enjoyed this card and have a great day! Thanks for visiting.
