Turquoise Bliss

I know it has been a while since I posted anything, but it has been pretty busy here. My sister is expecting a baby in August and I am hosting the shower. That means lots of invites, decorations, games, and tons of preperations. I am also making the invites for my cousin's baby shower to be held in May. I will show you the invites I made in a later post.

Now on to today's card. I did this one for a recent swap where there were now rules. Sometimes I love no rules! I used the Sale-a-Bration set Bliss for this one. I stamped the ornate stamp on Whisper White with Staz-On and then embossed it in clear embossing powder to give it a little texture. The butterfly and the "Bliss" are both stamped in Tempting Turquoise on Whisper White. I cut each of them by hand. I made twenty swaps and my hand hurt when I was done. I attached them both with dimensionals then added pearls to them. The butterfly got three pearls down the belly and "Bliss" got one in the bottom swirly. The back layer is Basic Black run through the Big Shot with the square lattice embossing folder.

I really like the way this card turned out. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
